Grandma Pong wanted to meet the parted family. She prayed to the king of the sea everyday. One day the king of the sea appeared in the dream. "I'll make a rainbow over the sea and go across the sea tomorrow" Grandma Pong went to the sea. The sea way between Hodong and Modo appeared like a rainbow. The people in the Modo country arrived in Hodong. However, Grandmother Pong left the will and died. "I can die without regret." The sea way were formed because of Grandma’s wish and it has been came back from Modo. The people changed the name Hodong to Hoedong. Every year the people prayed for good catch and wishes and get together and spend good time.
